Impact® is perfectly suited for the control of all the major diseases infecting sugar beet. These diseases are:

Powdery mildew - Erysiphe betae

Leaf spot - Cercospora spp.

Ramularia - Ramularia spp.

Rust - Uromyces betae

Triazoles are often mixed with a benzimidazole in order to increase the spectrum controlled. Impact® in a mixture with carbendazim is compared below with the efficacy of straight carbendazim in trials conducted in France.

A disease such as Ramularia spp. is well controlled with straight flutriafol. This is demonstrated in the figure below, but the mixture with carbendazim also results in excellent control.
